Osteology Exam 1

The following set of drawings were made for educational purposes. I basically went online and looked up pictures from wikipedia and then made a tailored drawing with the labels and structures I had to learn for the class. Most of the original pictures come from the Osteology Collection of Henry Gray located in wikipedia.org If you happen to be enrolled in the Osteology course offered by the Anthropology Department at Texas A&M University this can be of great help. As you can tell by the title, this is just the bunch that I had to learn for exam one. Exams 2 and 3 will be added later.

Welcome to Dave's Artist Pad

Well, I don't like to type much... but I've decided to advertise my drawings a little more and a blog just seemed the right idea to me. This space will include some of my creations both purely artistic or educational. Please feel free to comment and also use my drawings if you see fit. Just give the right credit that's all. Here's my first creation. Hope you like it. :D

Highway Butterfly

-I found this beauty on the side of the road walking home from lab. It was actually just the wings the head and the upper body. I had to reconstruct the missing parts from pictures online but everything else was drew as accurately as possible from still life. I might fill in the color later. I just don't want to mess it up cause I usually don't work with color pencils. If I do... you'll get to see it. :)
